As I began my journey into the world of oil painting of golf courses, I started first with a simple still life of a pitcher with two pears in front.  My results were more than acceptable and from there I began my journey into golf courses.  In all of this a special thank you goes out to Mark Carder and his free videos showing his method for painting in oil that have just clicked for me.  Here is that first painting.
 

My future posts will detail some of my recent works and eventually once I am up to the present time detail the current golf course painting I am working on and hope to keep active in my blog to allow other to see my works in progress.  Thank you.
