Love this course and this view. Bandon Dunes is such a special place, I can’t wait to get back. 12×24 inch oil on canvas. Tom Doak’s crowning achievement to date, and deservedly so.
The photo for the painting I took during my 2016 trip to Scotland. Loved this course except for about 3 holes that were added later and just frankly didn’t fit in. This hole had a great view and a wonderful green. This 11×14 inch oil on linen board captures to Auld Grey Toon well.
Finished this 16×24 inch commissioned piece of PB Dye’s (Pete’s Son) challenging par 3. Love this hole though the green and surrounds are brutal!!
This 12×24 inch Geneva Oil on canvas captures great light on a challenging short hole. Tom Doak is a true genius of golf course architecture.
Completed my largest painting to date. A 3×5 foot Geneva Oil on canvas of the 17th Hole, “Peconic.”
I was able to enjoy this wonderful 9 hole course with my father earlier this year. Was fortunate enough to meet Rob Collins the architect and could tell the love and sweat that went into the course. Patrick was also a great host and no doubt success will only continue for that group.
The painting is a 20×30 inch oil on canvas. Done with Geneva paints.
This 11×14 inch oil on linen panel is my photo from the Monday practice round in 2013. Loved this hole (other than the added trees on the right) and the fact you can see the 12th in the background made me want to paint it even more.
Had the fortune to play North Berwick this past July and it is all I could ever want in a golf course. I truly loved it and this par 4 called “Perfection” was just that in my opinion. This original is for sale.
Such a cool hole, one would never tire of playing.
